Widow Maker

Widow Maker. A typical widow maker (slang for a limb that is just hanging, caught up within the trees), that can kill you if not paying attention to things around you. If this photo helps one person not get hurt, than this was worth taking and showing.

A Scene From The Cascade Mountains

A Scene From The Cascade Mountains

Those who keep up with my photographs know that we went on a outing yesterday after Guy got off work early.

We accidentally stumbled upon water. After turning into several dirt roads, one we had to back out of for a tree had fallen and there was no way to continue on that road. Then we took another dirt road stumbled onto this lake, or swamp, or watering hole whatever one wants to call it. I took several shots and well, I had a hard time deciding which ones to show you. So decided on making this.
